Texas A&M Institute for Neuroscience
Neuroscience Minor
All face to face TAMIN Advising has been cancelled. All undergraduate inquiries, including but not limited to: declaring a minor, adjustments, course registration, should be sent to undergrad@tamin.tamu.edu. If you need to speak with an advisor, please email undergrad@tamin.tamu.edu and a Zoom appointment will be arranged.
The Neuroscience Minor, offered by the Texas A&M Institute for Neuroscience (TAMIN), is considered an interdisciplinary minor with course selections in the Departments of Biology, Psychology, Philosophy and Veterinary Integrative Biosciences. Please be aware that each course selection below may have prerequisite requirements that must be met. The coursework (15 credits) listed represents various sub-disciplines within the field of Neuroscience and would give the student an overall knowledge base fitting a minor in Neuroscience.
To apply to declare a Neuroscience Minor, the student must complete a Neuroscience Minor Approval Form (linked below). The completed form should be submitted via email to Undergrad@tamin.tamu.edu in PDF (no other format will be accepted). Upon approval of the addition of the minor, the Neuroscience Minor Approval Form must be signed by the TAMIN academic advisor and then submitted by the student to the major advisor to be officially added to the student’s curriculum. The minor must be declared before the student has completed 95 hours.
If you would like to meet with a Neuroscience Advisor, please email Undergrad@tamin.tamu.edu and a Zoom meeting will be scheduled.
Contact Undergrad@tamin.tamu.edu for additional information.
