My research focuses on traumatic brain injury (TBI) and Alzheimer's disease (AD). Specifically, I primarily use mouse models to investigate the role of the adaptive immune system and cerebrovasculature in TBI-induced initiation or exacerbation of Alzheimer's pathology. I am also looking at the role of the adaptive immune system more broadly in the context of Alzheimer's.
